Antonia Chandler is an active early music singer in London, where she has sung with the Tower of London chapel choir, the choir of St. Clement Danes, and the Parliament Choir. In New Haven and New York she sang professionally with the renowned chamber choir Yale Schola Cantorum under the direction of David Hill and Masaaki Suzuki. With Schola she has toured internationally, including to Spain, India, and Scandinavia, and has recorded works for Hyperion records such as Schütz Christmas Oratorio and Brahms Ein Deutsches Requiem. Antonia was also an alto soloist in the North American premiere of Judith Weir’s In The Land of Uz.
Antonia was a staff singer with the choir of Trinity Parish Church in Southport, CT in 2019, and from 2016-2018 she sang with Christ Church New Haven, a fully professional chamber choir that performs services in the Anglican tradition. Additionally, Antonia has performed in several world-premieres, including Reena Esmail’s This Love Between Us, Tawnie Olson’s Magnificat, and Ryan Lindveit’s Mysterious Butterflies.
